Tonight's episode of "Dark Side of the Ring" is all about a true wrestling trailblazer, the Junkyard Dog.
There were Black wrestling stars before him, but Sylvester Ritter was the first Black SUPERstar, packing fans of all backgrounds into sold-out arenas at the height of the 80s wrestling boom.
His dramatic rise to stardom in the WWF was followed by an equally precipitous fall from grace. For the first time on camera, his family breaks their silence for the deepest, most personal look at him yet.
